PROJECT OVERVIEW
In 2017, Gulf Corp and its partners completed the Speedway Commerce Center transaction. A 180,000 SF industrial facility located in Concord, NC, and just south of turns 1 and 2 of the Charlotte Motor Speedway. The building was originally leased to two 90,000 SF tenants; Fanatics the $2 billion dollar e-commerce giant and Lionel the maker of Lionel Trains and Lionel Racing Collectables. In 2019 ownership facilitates the restructure of both leases, accommodating Fanatics corporate need to downsize and Lionel’s need to expand. The property is now Lionel’s corporate headquarters under a long term NNN lease. In this facility, Lionel produces the famous Lionel train sets and all NASCAR racing diecast collectables.
