AUSTIN AMES
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Austin Ames serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Corporation. Austin founded Gulf Corporation in 2014 from a pioneering spirt to impact, grow and enhance the Southern United States through development of infrastructure that will create new environments to foster business development throughout the South and its communities.
Since then, GuIf Corp has become the premier real estate development company in the southeastern United States. Austin has lead Gulf Corp’s growth in developing and investing nearly $800M in industrial, office, medical, and big box retail properties to date. From concept to delivery, he is very hands on, providing the vision and creative solutions to complex real estate decisions for all of Gulf Corp’s clients and partners. His ability to visualize what a project could be, capitalize it, and deliver have made Gulf Corp a go-to name in commercial real estate across the US.
Austin is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. Upon graduating Ole Miss in 2008, Austin, an avid auto racer, pursued his auto racing career, racing at some of the highest levels of the sport.
Austin currently resides in Dallas, Texas and also splits his time between London and Los Angeles with his beloved Rosette and English Bulldog Ralph. He is an avid golfer, racer, and active with numerous charitable organizations.
WYNN SEARLE
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT
Wynn Searle is Executive Vice President of Development and President of Gulf Corporation’s Healthcare division. He is one of the founding members of Gulf Corporation. Wynn oversees all of Gulf’s projects, specializing in leading edge medical facilities from investments to new development opportunities.
Wynn is an energetic senior executive with a proven track record in all facets of project delivery including real estate development, business development and strategic plan development and execution. He has an exceptional ability in developing relationships with medical professionals, governing boards, and internal and external project stakeholders. Wynn has experience managing new facility development, facility expansions and joint venture partnerships.
Wynn began his career in an architect and was responsible for the design of numerous facilities around the United States. In 1994, he was instrumental in the design and implementation of a new heart hospital model for MedCath Corporation, which revolutionized the delivery of cardiovascular care and helped spur wide-scale development of heart hospitals and other specialized service hospitals nationwide.
In 1996 Wynn was invited to join MedCath to develop the new heart hospital model nationally. As Vice President of Operations/ HospitaI Development, he was directly responsible for over $750 million in new facility development and the opening of eleven (77) hospitals. During his tenure, he gained extensive experience interacting with physician partners, medical staff members, hospital administrators and clinical staff members, as well as community and government leaders.
In 2006 Wynn joined with other former senior executives of MedCath to form NewHope Bariatrics, Inc., an organization founded to develop, own and operate ambulatory surgical centers designed to address the weight loss and co-morbidity needs of obese patients.
In 2009 Wynn was influential in the formation and opening of Mohr Health, LLC, a development company focusing on general acute, post-acute, sub-acute, medical office and other medical facilities for healthcare clients nationally. He has served on the Board of Directors of several hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, is a registered architect and earned his Bachelor of Architecture at Texas Tech University.
CORINNE MITCHELL
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Corinne is an accomplished Dallas native who brings a strategic yet personable approach to commercial real estate. She has been instrumental in the development of over 1.2million square feet of Class A Office and Medical Buildings across the North Dallas market and brings a winning track record of increasing property value and positive investment results for landlords and investors. Throughout her career, she has been involved in countless transactions ranging from ground up spec developments, acquisition and disposition of assets, and build to suit relocation projects.
Corinne specializes in partnership and portfolio management and all aspects of landlord representation including asset management, lease negotiations, and site selection. Over the past 13 years working in commercial real estate, Corinne has established a reputation for building great relationships with every client, tenant, city, and trade in the market and truly values the people she works with and represents.
In 2021, she founded Northway Properties, LLC and is the Landlord Representative for Class A Commercial Office properties along the North Dallas Tollway with a portfolio valued at $155MM.
